Background
I am the Branch Chief for Program Development, Quality Assurance, and Training for a government contractor in North Carolina. The organization focuses exclusively on personnel recovery and Survival, Evasion, Resistance, & Escape (SERE) training and provides expertise in these areas to the Department of Defense and other Government agencies. The NC operation is considered one of the company's largest contracts and requires a unique skill set. Unfortunately, many of the new hires have limited to no experience in this area. As a result, training is critical.
